| Not to brag or anything but...I made a 4.0, woohoo! Perhaps alcohol doesn't cloud my greater judgement. I'm home now, and I'm happy to be here. I was thinking about heading up to Morgantown mid-June to move into my new house, but I won't be there long because I'll be going to Spain around the 20th to take some classes and learn more Spanish, which really excites me. One of the good things about taking classes over there is I won't get a report card, which takes some stress off of me. I will just get credit for the classes as long as I don't get below or C. That's fair enough. I somehow don't believe I'll have a problem maintaining their expectations. I am nervous, though, since I'm going to Granada, and they supposedly speak some serious Spanish over there...NOT textbook Spanish. It will definately be an adventure, though, and I'm always up for something like that. I've been talking to this guy who's been trying to introduce me to his ex girlfriend who lives there, and hopefully I'll be able to get in touch with her while I'm there. It's always relieving to think that I have connections of some sort. When it comes to boys, though...I say screw 'em. Pun intended? You decide. Well, that's all I have to say for now. I hope everyone has a great summer if I don't get to write in here for a while. Peace easy,

| I don't even know what to feel anymore. At first I was shocked, which, in turn turned to sobs as I read the details of what happened. A mere three years ago he was sitting next to me in Geometry class, cracking jokes. Two years ago, it was Art. Now, all is gone from him in terms of this world due to a roommate dispute gone horribly wrong. However, all I can do is keep his family in my prayers and hope that he is in a better place now. R.I.P Brendan Martin.
Sorry my entry couldn't have been a bit more uplifting...I'm just feeling really off right now. | | |
| Long time, no entry...so, here goes nothing. Classes are going well since I've kinda gotten the hang of managing my time. I think I'm going to try to get a job this semester, although I haven't heard from my future employers yet. Maybe I'll try to call them. I really hope that I am able to go down to Florida Spring break with someone, but if I can't, I guess I can fly alone. That makes me nervous, though. I'm so afraid of heights...that's pretty much the thing of it. But it is somewhat safer than driving, due to the fact that there isn't traffic and I'm not driving. Haha. I sure hope I get to do that, though. Yesterday, I watched the Steelers beat the Broncos in order to get to Superbowl 40! That really excites me...and I think a certain someone that I haven't seen in, oh, two weeks might try to come down and visit me so we can watch it together. Ooh la la. And he wants me to buy him a shirt, too. Nice try... ...j/k. Well, that's all I really have to say for now. I didn't do a whole lot this weekend...mainly hung out with friends and such. I wish I could go somewhere else next weekend. Oh well. TaTa,

| It's been a while, therefore the time has come for me to UPDATE! Of course, as you may know, Christmas break came in December, but it has come to pass as has my first semester at WVU! I got a 3.41 on my report card, which isn't too shabby considering that I had 17 hours, and it was my first semester here (and there were also a few B's right on the borderline of being A's...grrr!). Although I needed a break, I must say I'm happy to have returned...and I'm also happy to inform all that I have a new roommate! I'm going to room with my buddy, Brent, next year, as far as I know, and I'm really excited! I can't wait to go look at the place with him. It's supposed to be one of the nicer places in Morgantown from what I've heard (the newer courtyard apartments). I've also had my share of wasted nights...and embarassing moments. But let's not get too into that, shall we? All I can say is that I was reunited with someone that I never believed I would see again due to alcohol (well, maybe I should say being drawn to a place which sells alcohol...aka "the bar"), and I've been hanging out with him since then, making him buy me drinks. Hahaha! Just kidding! He is "my boy" (and an abercrombie "squall"...hahahaha, the things I say sometimes when I'm not completely coherent) and I got to spend a fun weekend with him and will hopefully see him again sometime soon. Right now, I am watching the Steelers and a little worried about getting books for my impending classes. Speaking of that, I am afraid to learn whether or not I've overdrawn from my bank account. I'm a little nervous about that. I can't really afford to pay a stupid 30 dollar fee, so I'm hoping I still have a little bit of money left. The cost of books is truly amazing in college. It's a good thing I got a discount!
Over the break, I also got to hang out with some old friends and went to Lauren's bday party, which was fun and involved seeing the movie The Family Stone. That was pretty good, and I enjoyed it alot. It made me appreciate Sarah Jessica Parker a little bit more. April and Nathaniel came over for New Years Eve, and we ran outside at the stroke of midnight banging on pots and pans...only on New Years Day do you have an excuse for that! Maria came over on the 2nd to watch the Mountaineers kick some Peachy butt in the Sugar Bowl...that was nothing short of AWESOME!! Well, that's all I have for now, but I promise to update sometime soon again.

| I had a pretty good weekend...only a week til finals! It's dead week, though, so I hopefully won't get too lazy. I have a test this week, though so I shouldn't procrastinate too much. Last night, I tried chai for the first time (and it actually isn't an alcoholic beverage). It was absolutely delicious, but my friends and I just started talking about the most off-the-wall things afterwards, so we wondered if it was spiked after all! Haha. It was alot of fun. Afterwards, I went to WVU up all night, which was okay. I played a trivia game, and it was pretty fun even though I didn't win anything. I'm really excited because I just found out that a friend of mine will be in Greece over the summer, and I might visit her sometime for 2 weeks or something. I'm so excited! I just wish I could go over there for the entire summer...I would get a job or something. Hmm, you never know. Well, that's all I have for now. Good luck on finals everyone!
